This past weekend wasn’t just about our incredible Family Fun Day—it was also a momentous occasion for one of our own. Lorato Lenoge, a dedicated employee of Pascal Kitchen Specialists achieved a significant milestone by becoming Miss Akasia South Africa Gauteng Queen 2024 competition, representing Gauteng on a grand stage.
From Within Our Ranks to a National Stage
Lorato’s journey to becoming a Semi-finalist is nothing short of inspiring. She has faced challenges head-on, emerging stronger and more determined with every step. In her own words, the competition has been transformative, allowing her to grow both personally and professionally. She shared how the experience has instilled resilience and a deep sense of purpose, shifting her mindset to goal-oriented and persistent.

Driven by a passion for inclusivity, I proudly advocate for children with dyslexia. I firmly believe that our community must strive to accommodate and support individuals with diverse learning needs. Unfortunately, many learners with dyslexia face discrimination and exclusion in schools and society.
It's time for us to shift our focus from what they have (dyslexia) to who they are as individuals. By doing so, we can work towards creating a more inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes equal opportunities.
